Hi,
which island is the hottest in early June?
Also which island is best for good value, i.e eating out prices? I was in Skiathos last year and felt that paying 50 Euro for a meal for 2 adults and 1 child was a little steep. We stuck to the places off the beaten track, but found it still a bit expensive. Any tips?

Where did you stay in Skiathos? We've been there in May the last couple of years and while it's not the cheapest island, we didn't find it the most expensive. And our meals weren't costing 50 euros, more like 30-35 with wine etc.
I'm just guessing, but I think Crete would be among the hottest islands all through the summer, due to being so far south. |

Hi... we were in Kolios...admittedly there werent that many places to choose from...but any local knowledge would be welcome to find a good deal....

Stayed on Rhodes 2 years ago and Kos last summer. I was prepared for high prices for food but it was not expensive at all. Specially Rhodes, i mean 7 or 8 euro for a main menu is really not expensive in my opinion. Last weekend I went to the cinema here and paid 8 for a beer and popcorn  |
