Does anyone know of a group/guide/tour i can hook up with in October (mid-late) to hike the Aradena Gorge near Loutro & Sfakia? i don't want to join one of those expensive 7-10 day walking trips, i just want to do Aradena with someone who knows the area. Any ideas would be great. thanks. There is Greek woman I know here in Canada who puts together the occasional guided hiking trip (with friends and contacts, not a commercial tour). She's done a few trips in Epiros, also Ikaria and wants to organize something for Crete - either hiking, cycling or both. Nothing is planned for this year unfortunately, but next year there will be something - destination tbd.
