I came to Thessaloniki, Greece in June 2007, from California. I thought I was just going to be here for a summer, but some things changed here and I took a semester here. I will be returning back to Los Angeles, at the end of January to work on getting my dual citizenship and all that fun paperwork. Anyway, it would be so amazing if I could find work in Mykonos from June- August, before starting my fall semester back in Thessaloniki. I was just wondering, if maybe I should go to Mykonos, in December, and see if I could get a job then. I know its early, but if I go in June and do not find a job, I'm kinda messed up. I speak enough Greek to get around, and understand almost everything. What do you think I can do? I really want to come back here in June and work, not September just for school. If you could give me any advice I'd be so grateful.

Hi,
No, December is really too early.
Their is no point as 90% of bars are closed!
The best is to go in May and go from bar to bar.
I have some friends from Mykonos. PM me if you want me to put you in contact with them. There might be able to help you.
