| Can anybody out there please advise on any cheap, quiet accommodation in Skopelos, Skiathos, Alonissos and Skyros. My wife and I will be visiting these islands in September this year. I’m hoping that the sale of Olympic airlines will not effect us in any way as we will be travelling all the way from Cape Town. iathos |

Hello Fynbos,
I could not help you much on this post. As you are travelling in September and it is the month that things are really more quiet that busy august maybe you could take the risk to find accommodation once on each island.
Otherwise here are the url of the accommodation we propose in the Sporades. Every accommodation is linked to the hotel or other accommodation website and you can get in direct contact with the owners/manager.
Skiathos: www.greeka.com/sporades/skiathos/hotels/
Skopelos: www.greeka.com/sporades/skopelos/hotels/
Alonissos: www.greeka.com/sporades/alonissos/hotels/
Have nice holidays! |

| Friends of mine just returned from Skopelos, I'll be sure and ask them about their experiences and recommendations...and will repost. |

Highly recommend Villa Angela in Aselinos Valley on Skiathos. Have just returned from the best holiday I have ever had in Greece. It is in a very quiet location and yet only 5 mins from a beach and 20 mins from the main Skiathos Town. The accommodation comes with a car and breakfast included and cost us in August (which is normally the most expensive time) only €840 for two weeks which, as I said, included breakfast and the car. The Villa has 12 rooms (each with own bathroom and kitchen area) with a pool and a bar/restaurant and is set in the most stunning wooded valley. Could not recommend it more highly. |

You could try Villa Panos:
http://www.skiathos.gr/html/advert/panos/index.html
It is a new addition to the holiday accommodation market and unfornately, photos do not do it justice. It is five minutes from the town centre within ten minutes walk of Skiathos Town beach really couldn't be in a better position. Speak to the charming owner, Miss Rachel McGurk, on 01603 624501 and you can tell her Jonathan sent you if you like! |
