Hy! I'm from Romania and I would like to visit Lesvos this summer. Who can recommend me a village? I'm looking for great beaches ( which I believe is not difficult to find ) and night life available activities.
Thanks,
Oana |

| I have been to Lesvos 4 times it is a fairly quiet island. My favourite place is Petra, a lively village with a good beach, lots of tavernas to choose from, all with good food. If you are looking for discos etc., Lesvos is not the place to go. A short bus or taxi ride away from Petra is Molyvos, a delightful place to visit, at night the castle is lit up, and plenty of shops, and tavernas. Sadly the beach here is not so good. A ride the other direction out of Petra is Anaxos, this is quieter, but has a lovely beach. Hope this helps and I am not too late with this information. |

| It's been some years now since I visited Lesbos, but Skala Kalloni used to be a great place to be. |
