I am planning a 10-night honeymoon of Greek islands and am wondering if people would suggest a couple nights in Crete. Obviouosly, we're looking for some romance, some nice beaches, some culture...
And if so, where to stay? |

| Amphora hotel is worth considering for a couple of night's stay. Chania has an ENORMOUS amount of character and atmosphere. Beaches to the east in Souda Bay are pretty good – Almerida especially. Chania is a good couple of hours drive from Heraklion. Check flights in to Chania. |
