Comments about Psarou area + beach?
Is it very busy/loud at night?
Is this one of those party beaches where the parties goes on and on...?
Is it true there are no supermarket on Psarou?
So nearest one is in Platis Gialos?
How about reaching Platis Gialos from Psarou?
Is it possible to walk between these 2 beaches?
Durin July, is the beach of Psarou totally crowded
(so need to be at the break of dawn to get a sunbathing place)? |

Is it very busy/loud at night? No, it was calm when I was there.
Is this one of those party beaches where the parties goes on and on...? No, the party were more located on Paradise beach.
Is it true there are no supermarket on Psarou? There weren't any when I was there, 3 years ago.
So nearest one is in Platis Gialos? Yes

Yes it is possible to reach it but walk is difficult as there is a hill between the two.

Yes it will crowded but not like in August. You will easily find a place to stay. The best would be to go at the begining of July.
Have great holidays. _________________ www.greeka.com

Hi,
Of course you can use the beach without renting a sun chair. The beaches belong to everyone!
I really don't know for the prices. Some hotels have their own on the beach. _________________ www.greeka.com

Thank you Alexis once again!
Do you (or someone else) know is there any pita/souvlaki take-aways near Psarou or maybe in Platis Gialos area? Any ideas? Or are these places only in Mykonos Town/Chora?
Also, is there vegetarian versions available? |

I really don't know if there is anything in Platis Yialos or Psarrou. But I know that there was something on half of the road from the one to the other. But I don't recommend it.
And yes, some have vegeterian version. But usually it is the same with the meat. Nothing more like Soja steaks... _________________ www.greeka.com

Errm... DO you mean they have soja steaks on Mykonos?
That would be so great!
Can we ask something more about the budget?
DO you know about coca cola/pepsi + water in supermarkets?
And pasta+tomata sauge? Also bread/rolls + cheese in supermarkets? What you think is their price? Are they very expencive in supermarkets (specially in the Platis Gialos area)? |

Mykonos is a very cosmopolitan island. You will find everything you need.
In a classical super market, the small Coca cola should be arround 50-70 cents and the water arround 50 cents. Pasta, less than a euro, tomato sauce: less than a Euro.
Then I really don't know for specific ones. The best would be, if you hire a car, to go on one of the centrals supermarkets near the town. You will find the best prices and the best choices.
I don't know what kind of supermarket there is on Platis Gialos but in all cases don't wait for something big. Usually the call themselves minimarket.
Then, you must know that Platis Yialos is one of the most expensive areas of Mykonos. _________________ www.greeka.com
