Beach and travel recommendations - from cruise ship

I am visiting Mykonos (and Greece) for the first time in September via a cruise ship. I am looking forward to a day at the beach, however the shore excursions through the ship are very limited. I'm concerned about transportation - are there taxis or other reliable transportation? Any specific beaches that are recommended?

There are many taxis and also a good network of buses. There are also little traditionial boats that are doing transportation between the beaches.
The most famous beach is Super Paradise but there are many amazing beaches on Mykonos
