If we hired a 30HP boat from Nidri, is it possible to sail around Meganissi in a day would anyone say or is it too large an Island for that and therefore we'd be better off staying close to shore?

Also anyone found a particular boat hire company to be better value for money in Nidri or are they pretty much of a muchness?

Thanks

Jerry

Hi Jerry,

Maybe you should try to contact franz[at]genigarden.com

I know that few years ago they were renting boats.

Thanks Olive. Tried the Geni but haven't received any reply whatsoever.

Found a company called Trident to rent a 30HP boat for the day. Anyone have any experience of this company at all as to how they compare to others in Nidri ?

http://www.tridenthire.com/dettagliovilla2.asp?id=136&id2=boatr

Also we are hiring a jeep for 4 days. Going the first 2 weeks in July I've been advised that I'll be able to find cheap deals in the resort as opposed to booking online prior to departure. Anyones thoughts on this please and the best value for money companies in Nidri, Lefkas?

Thanks

Jerry

Hi bear,

The company you mention is one of the best. Trident is involved in this business several years and the people there they have a lot of expirience.

Meganissi is not a very big island and you can sail around it within a day, stop for food and swimm in clear waters of cave Papanicolis and its beaches. The island is very nice and if you want more have a look at these pictures:

Meganissi photo album

Hope I help you.

Does anyone have an idea of the price range a small boat would be? Something for 3-5 people, 10-20HP. Or any other kind, just for the record and reference.
Thanks

I asked for you and they replied that the price for 15hp is 35 Euros per day and 25hp is 45 Euros per day. Smile
