Hello everyone,
this is my first visit to this forum and already I've learned alot about Mykonos. However, I want to find out how to get tickets for the boat trip from Mykonos to Delos. We are arriving on a cruise ship in October and would prefer touring Delos on our own.
Is it possible to order tickets for the boat prior to our arrival?
Thanks for your help!

Hi jjber,
Welcome! And good for you for wanting to explore on your own! I don't know how you'd order tickets to Delos prior to arriving; but you shouldn't have a problem buying them there, it's just a short 30 minute excursion from Mykonos. If you don't want to do the cruise-ship tour, you can easily get tickets on the quay itself in Hora (Mykonos), the island's port and capital. Boats leave roughly every 30-45 minutes from 9am to late morning, and return between 12:30 and 3pm. There is usually a noticeboard posted right on the dock with all the times. If you need a guidebook, they are usually sold right at the ticket offices.
Take some water and a snack, the cafeteria there is poor and expensive!
Have fun on your cruise! |
