Me and my grlfriend are planning a trip to Greece in mid-September. Since I want to be sure that I'm going to catch some clear sky and warm sea, I want to explore the possibility to visit Crete. By exploring this interesting web-site I can notice that most of the offered places are for the northern coastline of Crete. But I want to ask someone, are there places for accomodation at the southern coastline. Are there some nice beaches and blue waters? Can someone recommend some pls? The other thing I would like to ask are the ferry links. I just need an info on the prices from Pireus/Athens to Crete ports and the time-lenght of the trip. We plan to have some exciting travel throughout all Greece mainland to the port and then maybe see the Cyclades from the ferry. Thanx in advance for the help. We love Greece ! Departure at 9h00 and arrival at 17h30 or departure at 21h00 and arrival at 05h30. I will spend my September there in order to enrich our photos gallery. http://www.west-crete.com/img/map-beaches.jpg is a map with some south locations. Seems that there are many locations!
