Just wondering, are there many moped hire shops on Karpathos?

yes there are plenty. You will find them in the main town and in all the resorts.

Have great holidays there. I went there last year and it was an amazing experience.

You'll find plenty of moped rentals, mostly in the main town of Pigadia, but other places are getting into the act. Not to worry - you'll have many businesses to select from!
