My wife and I live in Canada and were in Rhodes for our Honeymoon in May 1982. We are going back on a cruise and landing in Rhodes in May this year for our 25th anniversary and we want to find a couple of old friends from 1982. Their names are John and Tina and they own the Belmo Palace Restaurant in Rhodes. I would like to correspond with John so that we can catch up to them when we arrive. Can you help me? My family are I (all adults with partners) are coming to Lindos for a holiday in July to attend the wedding of my niece. We have booked a villa independently. We would like to know how easy,cheap and convenient public transport and taxis are to get from A to B throughout the island because we are trying to decide whether to hire a couple of small cars or rely on public transport and taxis or a combination of both. I'm also assuming there is a tourist office in Lindos through which we can book excursions.

Any advice would be gratefully received.
