naxos, mykonos, santorini and lefkada

Hi we are going to greece in July next year, in Athens we know people who we will stay with, but on the islands we don't know where to stay!
Is it best to book before we go, or to wait until we get there? Also where are nice but cheap places to stay, no more than 35-60 euros a night.
But in santorini we want to stay somewhere nicer, maybe 120 - 180 euros a night?

Hi, It depends if you are travelling early July or late July. Early July you should be able to find accommodation on Naxos and Lefkada. But it would be better in any case to book now for Santorini and Mykonos. These two islands are the most popular of Greece and can be really busy.

For the info, Lefkada is on the Ionian sea (Adriatic) and is accessible only by car/bus.
