Restaurants in Kefalonia

Hello...we are travelling to Kefalonia this Sunday...does anyone know lovely restaurants with quality food in Kefalonia? We'll stay near to Argostoli town.

I really don't remember where I ate there. Maybe souvlaki.
But one advise I heard for eating in Greece: avoid places where there are only tourists. If you find a few Greeks in a restaurant, then, the possibilities to find better food gets bigger.

If you are staying in or near Argostoli, you will have plenty of choices from traditional tavernas to restaurants, offering European type menus.

I am hesitant to recommend a particular place to eat as everyone's tastes are different.

However, you will probably find the best value for money the further away from the square you go and there is a wide choice along Metaxa Street (the harbour front), catering for locals and visitors.
