Is Kokarri windy?

I will be going to Samos 2nd July staying at the Kokarri Beach hotel. Keep reading reports that Kokarri is very windy and am wondering if I have chosen the wrong resort. I am a bit of a wimp and like it HOT so do not appreciate the wind. Is it as bad as I am fearing????
