Greece in late April - where to go?

Planning a trip (1st time to Greece) the last week of April (4/25-5/3)where should we go? We're definitely planning to visit Athens. How is Santorini during that time? Will restaurants/nightlife be open during that time? I've heard much is closed in the winter months.

Hi Kaygeenc,

End of April is the begining of the season so there won't be much to do in term of nightlife. There will be restaurants open but not all.

Just note that: Mykonos, Santorini, Rhodes and Crete are the most famous locations and that the season is longer there so you might have most of the restaurants, bars etc opened. But don't expect in all cases any crazy nightlife.
