kitesurfing in naxos island

I would like to visit Naxos in august. Does anyone knows if the weather is still good to practice kitesurfing? I have read that the best month is August...

Hi,

August is the perfect month for kitesurfing. It is supposed to be the month were the local Wind Meltemis is the stronger. But then it depends of the years. I am a windsurfer/kitesurfer myself and last year was amazing.

There are 2 kite clubs on Naxos, at Mikri Vigla bay. Thalasea and Flisvos. Both have websites with pictures.

Concerning Paros, there are 2 clubs on Pounta (the one in front of Antiaparos). The condition there are great as it is really flat water. I don't remember the name of the clubs but everything is on the website.
