Greece : nightlife on ios in late september? : Greek Islands and Greece Forums

hallo. I`m going on holiday on 18th of september, but I`m not sure which greek island to choose. We just wanna have fun and party all nights and I`ve heard that ios is very good for this in summer. But I don`t know if is the same party also in late september and if there is still a lot of people? And what about Zakynthos? We will choose one of those two probably or you suggest a better one? The more important things for us, like I said before, are nightlife, lots of clubs and discos and lots of people.

Zakynthos as well as Rhodes, are known for their nightlife. Actually we hear every year comments on the tv by the locals that say that nightlife is destroying the image of the island with so many people (mainly Brittish) drunk in the streets Smile

Ios is a great place for parties. I am not a party animal but every time I went on this island, even for business, I ended dancing all night long. Hard mornings.
The optimum of the tourism in Greece is in August. I don't know about late September. The age of the people going to Ios is less than 30 and many studients. I suppose that at the end of September people have started courses ans jobs.

There is also Mykonos which is also very famous for partying. Much more than Ios but in an other way. More BSBG, more trendy. Personaly I love Mykonos but not my kind of nightlife.
