Hotel in Simi??

I have been having a very hard time trying to book a room in Simi for July 31 thru August 2nd,2009. I have sent emails with no responses. I even tried to book on this site and the page kept saying "error-go back".
Could someone recommend a good hotel/apartment for my daughter and myself. I would love to be near the port and good beach with a view of the water. Also, would love any recommendations on what not to miss on our 2 day stay in Simi. I can't stay away from Greece and keep coming back every year and try to visit atleast 1 or 2 islands each trip. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Thank you - it is a great site and will be very helpful in my quest to visit all the Greek Islands (an impossible dream I know, but one worth pursuing!). Wish I had read it before I booked all my airlines flights! Still would love to hear from anyone about what not to miss in Simi...or is the best thing about Simi the peace and natural beauty (which I highly value!)?

I am off to Symi for the day in a few weeks time (via Rhodes) ..... if its as good as ive been told.... then next year thats my destination !! so i will collect as much accomodation info as poss.
