Best time to visit Greek Islands

What is the best time to visit Greek Islands like Naxos? We were thinking of either June or September

I went there in May and it was my best holidays ever. Not too busy and the weather was perfect. I will definitely get there next year. I think that must be the same for June or September.

We went to Naxos last September and loved it! It wasn't too busy with tourists and the weather was great - Not too hot but still hot enough to lay on the beach.

We visit the Greek Island Naxos in September and it was fantastic. The weather was excellent, warm and sunny every day. I recommend Hotel Asteria on St. George Beach, only 5 minutes walk to the Port where all the nice Restaurants and Taverna's are. We were very pleasantly surprised with the Asteria, right on the beach, very clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The price of E40 a night is unbeatable for such a good Hotel. The people are friendly and we found Naxos the best value out of all the Islands we visited.
