Kefalonia or Corfu?

My wife and I visited Crete for a week in June 2007, staying in eastern Crete in Koutouloufari near Hersonissos. We made a day trip to Santorini from Crete. If we were to visit the Greek islands again in summer (say in the month of June), I would consider Corfu and Rhodes and perhaps Kefalonia. Which would you recommend? I am interested in history, sandy beaches, architecture and some greenery too, if possible, which is not widespread in some prominent and popular islands. Regards.

Both are excellent but in different ways.
Corfu for its town, villages, vegetation and beaches.
Kefalonia for its authenticity.
