Acropolis Tour or Not?

Hi,

I will only be in Athens for 1 day so I was wondering if it would be better to do a sightseeing tour or just walk around the city on our own. We are on a budget so is it worth a tour to see the acrpolis or can this been see by yourself?

Personaly I would reccommend the walking tour.
It depends if you feel secure in a foreign country or not.
