|

We are arriving in Athens at 7.30am at the end of May and would love to make the 12.30 ferry to Kefalonia. After allowing one hour for customs, baggage, etc. that would leave 4 hours to get from Athens to Patras. Will we make it? Which is the best way to travel - bus or train? Do we need to book a ferry at this time of the year?
Would appreciate any advice on this. Thanks. |

This should be enough time but it totally depends on traffic of course, it's a very busy road.
Generally there are a few ferries coming into Sami daily. Worst scenario is you end up for a while in Patras. The best thing to do is to get to Patras and go straight to the ticket offices on the front to get your tickets.
Hope your journey is good!
