Santorini Wedding - Wi Fi available?

We are getting married in June this year and as a few close family members cannot make it to Santorini we are hoping to set up a webcam so that they can watch us gettign married back in England.

My Fiancee works in IT so he should know what is needed but does anyone know if there is Wi Fi available in Santorini to broadcast as otherwise I don't think it will work.

We will be getting married outside at Profitis Illias.

Well, I think it will be difficult to have a wi fi at Profitis Ilias. The church is located up on hill/mountain.

The best way would be to check with local cell companies. They propose some connections for the laptop. The thing is to know if you can have this service on the island of Santorini. The main companies are Vodafone, Cosmote and Wind.

I hope your wedding were a dream! I was wondering what did you done with the live camera?
I am getting married this summer in Santorini and I will have live streaming during my ceremony! It will be not just a web camera but definitely live streaming. All my friends and relatives will be able to watch my wedding at real time!
The company who is providing this service is Poema weddings.
I was looking on the internet and I found this link www.weddingsinsantorini.tv which finally belongs to poema. Till now their services are great and their prices very reasonable.
