Hi every one I and a friend from work are travelling to Santorini 17th June 2008... we know there is nightlife but am unsure of anything else, what else is there to do , are there any markets> shops.> has anyone got a traditoonal Greek Wedding, do you need extra guest ???? are there any festivals at our time of travelling, we are only staying a week,

Well Santorini has just Santorini to be enough for a visit.
It is the most amazing place in Greece and you will spend hours walking in the villages alleys and watching the suroundings.
Concerning nightlife: The are some bars and clubs but no much more.
The island is really small and not many events organized.
But you won't get bored there.
Amazing excursions to a volcano, to an ancient city, to incredible villages. There are some beaches. I don't get crazy with them but you can spend some hours on the beach. The red beach is really impressive.
For a Greek wedding, check a agency and ask them if you can go. You never know.
You won't get bored there. And if you want, you can go visit an other island for a 2 days excursion.
