I'm glad to hear that Mykanos is generally very accepting of homosexual culture, but was curious as the the scene for straight folks as well. Me and five buddies from New York City have heard that parties in Mykanos are phenominal, and while we are all very accepting of the gay scene, we would like to meet and party with some ladies. Are we going to be disappointed? Can anyone elaborate as to what we can expect? We are all living in NYC so we're used to metropolitan, couture culture (as well as the dingy, dark sub-culture). Are the clubs here out of this world? What is expensive? Do you need to order bottle service when you go out? How big are the bars/clubs? Are there cover charges? Are they more loungy or clubby? No way! There is a larger gay scene than other places but there are also many heteros that love this island. I am not an expert of the nightlife of Mykonos so can not tell much.
