I'm planning a family reunion in Santorini in Early April. Would it be a good time to visit?
Some websites say that it will be nice and a good non-crowded time, while others have said that most things will be closed. I need to some help in deciding
Will most of the tourist sites be open? - The ferry trip to the volcano island, winery etc...
Will the restaurants be open?
What would be the best way to get to Santorini from Athens at that time? By Air / Ferry?
thanks !! |

Early april is a bit early in my opinion. I would do a reunion on mid-may.
In early april, many of the activities/shops/restaurants/hotels are closed so it can be a bit sad. But Santorini is always amazingly beautiful. Then, you have possibilities that the weather will not be good.
So to answer to your questions:
- Early April is when everything's opening on Santorini. So can tell when you'll be there what % of them will be opened.
- Tourist sites are always open. Concerning the volcano trip, boat trips also begins in early april.
- Best way to get to Santorini? Both plane and boat. Plane makes on hour and boat about 5-6 hours. _________________ www.greeka.com Admin |
