Travel from Corfu

I would like to go to Athens from Corfu. What is the best manner? Take the ferry to Igoumenitsa and then the train or go directly by plane? Many thanks

The ferry from Corfu to Igoumenitsa will take about an hour and a half. I don?t know if there are trains but I am positive about the bus. It makes about 8 hours to Athens. The trip by bus is very long. The flights are expensive and there are many daily flights during summer.
Personally I would suggest you to take the ferrie to Patras and then the bus for a 3 hours. Take the ferry by night in order to sleep. Have a good trip

Yes, the ferry to Patras should be the best and cheaper solution!
