summer job 2008

Hi,
I (and my girlfriend) am looking for a summer job 2008 from July to August or September. We've got some experience in restaurants and hotels (also in England - J.D. Wetherspoon, Manchester). We are on English studies in Poland. Can someone help us when is the best time to look for summer job and where? Does the English language will be enough to communicate there? It doesn't have to be on this particular island but somewhere there.

English language is far enough in order to find a job in Greece, in a hotel/bar. Maybe for restaurant it will be a little different.

As I always say, the best way is to go there at the begining of the season and go from bar to bar and ask.
If you want to find a hotel, there is here a database with hotels in Greece and in every location. Just send them a mail by using the booking form. The mail are treated directly by them.
