just heard from someone who is still waiting for his e mail to activate his account how long does it normally take

An e-mail is sent to the user's mailbox.... but he must right the e-mail correctly....

Sometimes spam filters block these type of emails. Your friend should check to see if there was any email sent to a 'junk' folder recently that could have come from this account, and perhaps modify the settings to allow emails from greeka.com.
