Hi myself and my boyfirend are going to Skiathos next month and i was wondering what the weather is usually like in september and also whether most things will be open since we will be visiting just outside of high season. We are hoping for a relaxing holiday but one where there is also nightlife if we want it, especially since it's our first holiday together and the first time my boyfriend has been abroard.
What do you think would be the best way to get round the island, since we haven't got a driving license.

The weather should be warm, if not hot, in September. I don't know where you're staying - some of the villages are fairly quiet but have great beaches. Skiathos Town will be lively with nightlife.
Getting round the island is very easy. There's a good bus service (only one main road) and plenty of taxis, both reasonably priced.
