I went to Assos - very picturesque from above! The only place we didn't reach was Fiscardo - I guess I'll have to leave it for my next trip

I was in Lassi. Silo Apartments. Great people and great place to stay. It's a strategic place to go to any direction to explore the island.

I was in Lassi. Silo Apartments. Great people and great place to stay. It's a strategic place to go to any direction to explore the island.

We stayed in Silo apartments. Very nice, but 2 cleaning ladies came in every other morning at the crack of dawn. I found we were cleaning the apartment before they got there, as they moaned like mad if we were not up, and it was untidy. We called them Kim and Aggie!!!!

We stayed in the middle of the island in Lourdas and it was the right decision. Nice, quiet blue flag beach. From Lourdas it's not too far to drive to Argostoli in the evening for dinner and a stroll in the town.
Be aware of the steep hill in Lourdas though, if you stay at a studio up the hill, you have a long walk down.

I found Lassi too full and busy. Skala was too far away from the main town.
