does anybody know where the best places are to have a drink and a laugh for some guys?? all about 20something... definitely not into the whole "bad brits abroad" scene, just somewhere nice and cool to let the hair down with a pina colada and a few tequilas? Wink

been told theres some good nightclubs in fira..... anybody have any experience of those?? were staying in perissia so will we need to take taxis every night?

Santorini is quite an upmarket place if you know what I mean, Fira is a romantic place for couples watching sunsets over a glass of wine, and yes you would need a taxi to get back. Perissa has some great bars, they sometimes do a bonfire on the beach, infact I think Perissa is a better place for what you want. I was there this year and had a great time. Santorini is not a full of lager louts, but people having a good time. Hope this helps.

Ah!! wonderful news!!! Thanks for the help! Glad to hear theres no lager louts, went to Zakynthos a few years back and it was just horrid spending a fortnight with Vicky Pollard (Little Britain) and the legions of burberry cap wearing chavs.

The friends that im going with are arriving on the 24th (on tuesday)....ill be meeting up with them a week later as i live in dubai...

from gatwick..... if ur flying from there too, you'll probably bump into them..... theres about 30 people in total.....

I just got back from Santorini....you are ALL going to have the most amazing time!!!! I was hoping to miss my flight back so that I could stay for another week! It's just great there! and Perissa I think is the best place to stay! Have an extremely wonderful time! I wish I could go back already!
