| Very nice beach, pretty family oriented, nice restaurants. On a clear day, you can see the island of Cephallonia in the distance. |

Hi alexis,
Yes, I would have to agree, Alikanas has become very "tourist-oriented" and it reminds me of Tsilivi...it's too bad because it has just become this in the last few years - it's a shame.
A very nice beach is "Psarou" which is on the same coast as Alikanas and is in between this and Tsilivi - unspoiled.
We also enjoyed Keri very much... |

As a first timer to greece, I am glad I chose Alykes on the Island of Zante. The Beach is wonderful and the locals are very friendly.
The best bar is the VIRAGO bar, at the far end of the resort. It is run by the owners of the Beach House and Beach House II which are situated next to it and have direct access on to the beach. This accomodation is excellent and I would recommend it to anybody. (Can only be booked through Manos) _________________ Pete |
