Taxi's again!

Sorry for posting this topic again but I notice that it was last posted in 2005!
We are traveling to Kardamena village in June & wanted to get an idea how much a taxi would cost from the airport so that we don't get ripped off. Apparently it's about 8km from the airport. I'm assuming that a taxi is going to be the only viable way of getting from the airport to the village?

I don't think the rates have changes much since 2005.
The best is to ask several taxi about there rates.
Or ask at the information desk of the airport about the logic price.

You won't get ripped off. Alexis is right, just ask your driver in advance or ask somebody at the airport info booth.

the taxis to the airport will cost u between 10 and 12 euros

Hi, my friend and I are heading over to Kardemena in July and just wondered how much it would cost for a taxi from the airport to Kardemena?.. The transfer cost our travel agents are charging are ?40 return and just wondered if a taxi would be our cheaper option? Any advice would be appreciated..

The taxi from airport to Kardamena should be around 15 euros each way and there are lots available during the day. However, although I have managed to get a taxi off a night flight they are less plentiful and on one occasion we shared the last taxi with another couple. I think the ?40 being charged by travel companies is a rip off, probably to discourage people to use them.
