In 11 weeks I?m going back to Skiathos to find my heart. Somehow I must have lost it down there last year, ?cause there hasn?'t passed a day where I haven??t been thinking about last years holiday.
If you want to relax and just feel free, Skiathos is the place to go. And that?s one of the things I fell for. The inhabitans of Skiathos are the most kind and warm-hearted people I?ve ever met. I?m looking so much forward to showing my children how a calm way of life looks.
However, if YOU?RE interested in a tight scedule filled with action-adventure you'll be disappointed. Then this is not the place to go.
But I'M looking forward to 100% relaxation. Strolling down the beaches, enjoying good local food, bathing, renting a car and driving up in the mountains, watching nature, laugh with the locals, looking at bats at night, eating greek yoghurt with fresh tastefull fruit, watching the dolphins and just enjoing a week of no stress and no plans. 'Cause that's what Skiathos is about.
If you, like I do, need to reload and reboot your life once in a while, then there?s no place like Skiathos....
