Hi, unfortunately I don't know who rents boats on Naxos.
But for the info. The island of Ios has beaches that can be accessible only by boat but not in Naxos. If you want a boat just to discover some coves and beaches on Naxos I must inform you that it is useless. You can reach all the beaches by motorbike or car.
Also you must know that the islands of the Cyclades have strong winds from the north, the "Meltemi". It can be really strong for a couple of days.
There are rarely south winds but when there are, then it can be also very dangerous. I had an sail accident a some years ago. The sailboat was parked on the south part of the small bay of Mikri Vigla, in front of the restaurant of Sahara beach. The place was perfect as it was protected from the "Meltemi". A fisherman informed us about the danger of the place by south witnd but we didn't listened to him. I was spending every summer on Naxos and never realized haw bad is the south wind.
The wind changed during the night and it was really bad to get the boat on the other side. A really bad night for us. I was 20 years old and not experienced at all. Better ask the fishermen before going for a trip.
