Hello Eugene,
Corfu is a huge island so there are many many things to do. I can not talk about everything I know about the island because It would take me days so in few words:
- The main town (one of the most beautiful towns in Greece with elegant buildings like those that can be found in the imperial towns of Europe, I love it): beautiful mansions, superb palaces, its French-style flowered squares and its fortresses and more specifically: The square of the Esplanade, the Liston, the old Venetian fortress, the Town Hall Square, the Square of the Saints, the Ionian Academy and the Palace of Saint Michael and Saint Georges etc, etc..... I could talk for hours about it 
- The kanoni area
- The Pontikonisi is a must as it is a the trademark of the the island.
Some villages:
- Agios Manthaios
- Benitses
- Palaiokastritsa
- Pelekas
- etc, etc
Some Beaches:
- Agios Georgios
- Agios Gordios
- Miriotissa
- Glyfada
- etc, etc....
Well, there are reasons that Corfu is one of the most famous areas in Greece. It is a lovely island. Just a bit too crowded during high season.
