Paschaleios School in Zagoria: Paschaleios School is located in Kapesovo, an important village that flourished greatly during the period of Turkish domination. Built in 1861 by the Paschaleios brothers, this school building occupies the center of the village and represented an important center of learning and education.
In the 18th and 19th century, affluent residents of the village adorned the school’s library with some of the rarest intellectual treasures brought back from their travels around Europe.
The former school building has been preserved and has been converted into a folk art museum that houses many cultural treasures.
