Location: 2 km from Parga
Description: Valtos is a long and sandy beach very close to Parga. It gives a lot of watersports opportunities and is well-organized.

:: Parga Castle

Location: On top of a hill overlooking Parga
Description: The Castle of Parga was originally built in the 11th century and was then fortified by the Venetians and the Turks. Its location gives wonderful views.

Location: In Anthousa village, 3 km from Parga
Description: The Castle of Anthousa was built in the 19th century by Ali Pasha, the Turkish ruler of the area, to overlook the town of Parga.

:: Attend the Kanaria Festival

Description: Kanaria Festival is held every summer in Parga, on August 14th, to commemorate the return of the inhabitants from Corfu, where they had gone in early 19th century to escape the Turkish occupation. Events of Kanaria Festival are glorious and include fireworks and great celebration at the port.
