The town of Parga has a good variety of churches, which constitute one of the main attractions of this town. Some of them are built on the hills surrounding the town, others in the town centre and some on the coast side.

The church of Agioi Apostoloi, in the town centre, next to the Ecclesiastical museum, is the most well-known church of Parga. In addition, you should visit the church of Agios Nicolas, the protector of Parga. 		brought from Kapadokia, in Asia Minor, and is kept today in the Ecclesiastical Museum of Parga.

In Krioneri beach, you will find the church of Agios Athanasios and on the small island of Panagia, opposite to this beach, there is a church dedicated to Virgin Mary.

Those who appreciate to stare at the elaborated architecture from the past will surely take advantage and pay a visit to the churches in Parga.
