Lichnos beach Parga: The beach of Lichnos is placed 4 km to the south of Parga. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Epirus; in fact, it is one of those wonderful Greek beaches where the deep blue water gets combined to the green of the olive trees, all in the same environment.

Lichnos beach is sandy and has some large pebbles. Its waters are deep and clean; in fact, it is possible to fish in this beach. You will have the chance to practise some unusual water sports there, such as diving, scuba diving, jet skiing, surfing and snorkeling, among others. Lichnos has also pedaloe rentals which are very entertaining and allow exploring the Ionian Sea. Those who prefer tranquil activities, like sunbathing, can also feel very comfortable in Lichnos.

You will find some good cafes and taverns in Lichnos beach, which offer delicious meals and work all day. In addition, there are some rooms to rent, an organized camp and a mini-market.
 
As there is no nightlife on this beach, tranquil walks in the nightfall are recommended; Lichnos may be a little busy in the daytime due to its amusing activities but the sunset gives the opportunity to enjoy a quiet environment.

This beach can be accessed by car, boat or on foot. There is a paved road all the way to the beach but it is advisable to start early in the morning, in order to avoid the strong sun and the heat. Otherwise, you can go by car and bicycle or by boat from the harbor of Parga.If you visit

Lichnos beach, you should definitely go to the cave of Aphrodite. It is located in a 5-minute distance and can be accessed only by boat or a pedaloe. According to the myth, Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, used to take her bath in that cave. Keep Lichnos in mind when planning your excursions around Parga and enjoy everything this beach has to offer.
