Thassos Villages: Sotiras village in Thassos Sotiras village Thassos: Sotiras is located in the western part of Thassos, between Kalirachi and Prinos. It is a mountain village built at an altitude of 380 metres, on the foothills of Mount Psariou, offering a wonderful view. Nowadays Sotiras only has a few inhabitants, ancient ruins, old, traditional houses, beautiful ancient churches and a superb fountain dating from 1888. The beautifully traditional aspect of the village makes it one of the most attractive and quiet villages of Thassos. Some cafes and rooms for rent are available, as well as an excellent tavern, located on the central square.
