Thassos: Skala Maries Thassos

Skala Maries Beach Thassos: Skala Marries is a typical fishing village located in the southern side of the island, 30 km from Limenas. It is built next to the sea and it is a pole of attraction for many visitors. The beach is situated in a quiet and peaceful location, ideal to enjoy nature and hiking. It is surrounded by rocky cliffs covered with lush vegetation from both sides and exotic blue green waters.

It is organized with a few straw umbrellas and sundecks, placed in front of the crystalline waters. Basically, it is a secluded cove where the greenery background creates a magnificent landscape. It is protected from the strong winds and the waters are not so shallow. There are many hotels and fish taverns around the area. It is one of the best places to relax, away from the noisy crowds.
