Potos Beach Thassos: Potos is a beautiful coastal resort with remarkable tourist infrastructure. This is among the most popular beaches of Thassos. The long sandy beach is located 42km southwest from Limenas, the capital of the island. The beach starts from the centre of the village and it is surrounded by tall pine trees, rocks and vast greenery providing enough shade.

Potos is well-organized with umbrellas and sundecks, a main reason that the beach gets so crowded in the summer period. There, visitors have the opportunity to try their favorite water sports, like windsurfing. Potos stretches for 2km from one end to the other, an ideal place for romantic walks on the beach. The water is crystal clear and shallow. There are several restaurants and cafeterias available in the area. Once you leave Potos, you may as well visit Pefkakia, the next beautiful beach on the road.
