My wife and I have been to Thassos five times and in May 2009 we are going again. It is a great island, with picturesque villages, friendly people and plenty of history. Everything went great on Thassos. It is a nice island with a lot of greenery. The trip to Thassos was easy and not tiring at all. You take the ferry from Kavala and in 40 minutes, there you are! WE HAVE NOW BEEN TO POTOS 4 TIMES, USUALLY 2/3 YEARS APART. WE WENT LAST YEAR AND ARE GOING BACK AGAIN AT THE END OF MAY.
THE BEST BAR IS ANONYM-GEORGE AND THEO ARE THE BEST.
THE GOOD RESTAURANTS ARE THE GARDENS, POSIEDEN AND THE ONE WITH THE BOAT(CAN'T REMEMBER NAME)ON THE PROM.
