Samos: Pythagorio Samos

Pythagorio village Samos: This village is one of the most beautiful villages of Samos. It owes its name to the famous scientist Pythagoras and is located on the south-eastern coast of the island.

It has been turned into the major tourist resort of Samos and has a population of about 1500 inhabitants. Old and new houses blend together only separated by whitewashed narrow streets and stairs on which the inhabitants of the village have painted flowers. Taverns,
cafes and tourist shops are scattered across the picturesque port where small fishing
boats and yachts are mooring.
