Mavratzei village Samos: Mavratzei is a picturesque mountainous
village which stands among olive and
pine trees, south west of Vathy, in
the central part of Samos.
Pottery making is an old tradition of the village; therefore, potteries of all kinds can be bought in the numerous shops of the local craftsmen. A huge rock full of holes is standing in the north west of the village and is one of the main interesting sights.
