Location: On the eastern side of the island
Description: Vathy (or Samos Town) is the capital and largest port of the island. The village spreads on the slopes around the port and gives nice view to the sea.
Location: 10 km north west of Vathy
Description: Kokkari is a picturesque tourist resort that amazes visitors with its special atmosphere. Fishing boats and yachts moor in its small port.
Location: 11 km south west of Vathy
Description: One of the most beautiful villages on Samos, Pythagorion gets popular in summer as a lovely tourist resort. It is built around the port and distinguishes for its traditional architecture and the beautiful waterfront.
Location: 32 km north west of Vathy
Description: Beautiful mansions and impressive greenery distinguish this small village, on the northern side of Samos. This is one of the prettiest villages on the island.
Location: 25 km north west of Vathi
Description: With narrow alleys, stone houses and small squares, Manolates has delicious taverns and traditional cafeterias. The surrounding region is great for hiking.
Location: 42 km south west of Vathy
Description: Marathokambos is a mountainous village, built on the slopes of a green hill. In a close distance, there is Ormos Marathokambou, a lovely port from where excursion boats to Fourni and Patmos depart.
Location: 20 km south west of Vathy
Description: Mavratzei is a tiny village located in the centre of Samos. It has traditional architecture and offers great view to the surrounding nature.
Location: 10 km south west of Vathy
Description: This is a lovely village located in a close distance from Vathy, the capital of Samos. It is famous for the interesting Museum of Natural History.
